4 Months Old

This month has proven to be so fun with little Gracie Lou. She is becoming way more aware and started to sleep like a queen. At this point she goes to bed anywhere between 7:30 and 9 depending on how the day is going. She rolled over in her sleep this month which ended her swaddle sleeping. We moved on to the Merlin Magic Sleep Suit and that lasted maybe 3 weeks and she then was trying to launch herself over in her sleep using the side railings on the crib. We switched to a sleep sack that she previously was napping HORRIBLY in and it didn’t take but one night for her to figure out and get back to sleeping until about 4-5 waking for a bottle diaper change and right back to be. Graces head control this month has come SO far. She now holds her head up completely straight and can look around no problem. She has gotten such a good control over her hands and legs. She is often reaching for things and touching them, or grabbing them and pulling them to her mouth. If she cannot plant her legs on a surface she will and she loves to push off of it. Grace also had her very first family trip. We went to Pentwater with her Grandma, Grandpa, Aunts, Uncle and cousins. She had her first day at the beach and did better than expected. Shes laughed this month, rolled over, grabbed and pulled things to her mouth, started sucking her thumb and much more! Shes really loving her swing this month as well as her bouncer with the toy bar. We found out that she loves sitting in the porch and watch the cars goes by. We’ve spent many evenings in the rocking chairs before bedtime letting her watch the commotion of traffic.

Currently thriving as a 29-year-old. I am a wife to my high school sweetheart who is the world greatest man. I am currently expected our first little bundle of joy, Grace Elizabeth. I love all things trendy yet, realistic and affordable and think everyone else should to. I need a corner of the internet to share and save all things family, memories, recipes, fashion, decor and more. If you have stumbled upon me, my hope is that you enjoy what you see and read. I truly wish I can provide you some value in the things I share!
